We lost Panda, our dear friend and ride leader on April 30th, 2022, a week before the intended publishing date. It has been difficult for me to publish this story. At multiple points there were plans to transcribe the audio, add a foreword/afterword, include photography from his friends, to make a worthy tribute. Ultimately, these plan were too much pressure, a project too painful to revisit.
